An afternoon at the Harborfront

Weekend again... how time goes... really, I don't know where the time goes.  Every day seems to pass so quickly.  However, I am enjoying every day, no matter whether I have a lazy one or a more active one. I thank God for each day he gives me... and when it is a sunny day, I am even happier....

I am truly blessed to have such caring family and friends; and am truly thankful that they put up with me for extended periods of time!  THANK YOU!

So, weekend again... Huda and Sarah are off... and we decide to go out to enjoy this sunny weather.  We drive to the Toronto Harbourfront (am always very excited when there is water, lake, sea, as part of an outing!!!)

The Harbourfront is beautiful, the water is sparkling in the sun, there are lots of people out and about. There is a vegetarian food festival and environmental festival happening....

The one thing I do not understand is that there is never a coffee van anywhere at any of these festivities... this would not happen in Sydney!!!!  .... we did find a little coffee shop after some searching... saved....

Harbourfront is a neighbourhood on the northern shore of Lake Ontario within the downtown core of the city of Toronto.
Since its inception, Harbourfront Centre has been introducing Toronto audiences to artists and art forms that would not normally be seen in commercial venues, exploring new and bold frontiers in the arts and creative expression. Diversity has always been at the heart of Harbourfront Centre. In the lakeside places and spaces it encompasses. In the multitude of cultures and backgrounds it celebrates.

Glass blowing ....one can attend classes here at the Harbourfront Centre, to learn how... other classes on offer are pottery and jewellery making.
