Weekend ...

We had a lovely weekend - went shopping, and cleared out the garage (for winter... so the car will fit!).  Huda is preparing the garden for winter too. The weather has changed and his has become a bit chilly and you can feel autumn has arrived!

On Sunday we were invited for a BBQ at friends' place, Huda and Amr.  We had a lovely time, wonderful and hospitable people!  Huda put on an Egyptian feast.... with KUSHERIE - a yummie Egyptian dish with rice, pasta and lentils.  I haven't eaten that in ages....



It is interesting that wherever you go in the world, people barbeque!  And the men do the barbequeing and the ladies sit and chat or are busy in the kitchen.... this seems to be a universal phenomena!



It got a bit chilly and we moved indoors for the dessert, teas and coffees!
