Greektown

There is so much more to explore. All the different ethnic suburbs.... you really feel like you are in Europe, the Mediterannian or Near, Middle or Far East.....quaint...

Today I was venturing to Greektown.  The day looked sunny, but it was freezing cold (autumn has arrived).  It was very windy and I was wearing the wrong clothes - hence got frozen....

However, I treated myself to a Greek gyros and yummy Greek pastries.... that made up for the cold!!!

Greektown, Toronto, also known as Greektown on the Danforth, one of Toronto's most vibrant and cosmopolitan neighbourhoods.  The area is known for its architecture dating back to as early as 1910 , and for its number of Greek restaurants and stores. The area was one of the major settlement areas of early Greek immigrants to Toronto.
